Melbourne residences use high-end felted loop pile
PROJECT:
Main Drive Kew, Melbourne
PROJECT ARCHITECT: David Nicholson, DKO
DESIGN ARCHITECT: Jesse Linardi, DKO
CARPET:
Tussore felted loop pile from the Bremworth Collection
"Given that finishes selections were
required to reflect the high end, contemporary aesthetic of the
dwellings without forgoing durability, Cavalier Bremworth's
luxurious 100% New Zealand pure wool carpets were the perfect
fit."

While Main Drive Kew is a multi-dwelling project, each interior
has been designed with the intent of creating an individual and
timeless aesthetic.
Seductive lighting and beautifully crafted joinery interact with
contemporary floor surfaces of Spotted Gum, European Oak or Red
Ironbark and plush carpet. Elegant bathrooms have been
created that further highlight the special intent of the interiors;
these spaces have beautiful and considered fixtures. European
tapware and appliances together with Designer Doorware in satin
chrome or stainless steel augment kitchen areas.
There is a robust play of light on reflective surfaces including
Calcutta marble, ceasar stone and mirror as well as 2-pac joinery
in kitchens and bathrooms. Additionally, the extensive use of glass
maximises solar orientation and facilitates park views enhancing
the "living in a garden" thematic approach.
A predominantly neutral palette which is non-formulaic or
contrived enables the end user to introduce his or her own
individuality to spaces - creating highly personalized interiors
which are paramount in a multi-dwelling development
